As the evolution continues, there would be many changes in the upcoming species. The upgrading of humans into God-Like beings may follow any of these three paths. Well, these carriers may look like fairy tales but with due determination and interest, the time is not far when these godling creatures would exist.

1.      Genetical engineering



Genetical engineering is not going to wait patiently for natural selection to work its magic. Instead, genetic engineers will take the old sapiens baby, and intentionally rewrite its genetic code, rewire its brain circuits, alter its biochemical balance, and even grow entirely new limbs. They will there create new Godlings.


2.      Cyborg Engineering



Cyborg engineering will go to a step further, merging the organic body with non-organic devices such as bionic hands, artificial eyes or millions of nano-robots that will navigate your bloodstream, diagnose problems and repair damage.


3.      Engineering of Non-organic Beings

    

Neural networks will be replaced by intelligent software, which could surf both the virtual and non-virtual worlds, free from the limitations of organic chemistry. A non-organic artificial intelligence will find it easier to colonize planets.



These three would a major one, which would upgrade humans to take evolution to different heights.
